No-one likes to think that their relationship will end but sadly relationships do fail all of the time.
Splitting up can be one of the most stressful and disruptive things that can happen to anyone. When this happens people need sound, helpful and practical advice to help them through these difficult times and set themselves on course for a happier future. No matter whether you are married, cohabiting or in a civil partnership we can provide the advice that you need.
We have a Family Law contract with the legal aid agency so we can discuss with you whether pubic funding is available to cover the costs of your case .
Should you not quailify or be eligible for legal aid we will have to look at charging you privately for the work we do for you. We will discuss this when we see you. We are obliged to provide you with an estimate of the likely costs we think we will incur in representing you and this will be set out in writing for you. We will review this estimate as the case progresses as you are entitled to know of the likely costs we anticipate seeking from you.
In terms of charing rates, our qualified solicitors charge £175.00 per hour and our trainee solicitor's rate is £85.00 per hour. Again this will be set out in writing for you. We can discuss varying hourly rates with you where appropriate but would only do so with your agreement.
We aim to offer helpful and practical advice whatever your needs.
